This mirror used to be a fixture in Daughter 2's bedroom, that is before it spontaneously exploded into hundreds of mirror pieces and one white frame (well that is her story and she is sticking to it).
As with all other rejected and broken items in our house it was transferred to my studio where it hung around like a white elephant awaiting it's upcycled transformation.

Just love being creative, be it writing, tinkering in the studio, cooking or playing fairy-godmother to old run-down stuff.
I firmly believe that upcycling is the way of the future, there are already too many "things" on earth so rather repurpose something old and give it a beautiful creative new lease of life. It it's broken ... upcycle it!
Stick it to the mass manufacturers and support handmade product.
