A few things to share today:

Baked some GIANT choc chip cookies with mu kids

Made a gift for a friend at work.

Send off a parcel to BB in Tzaneen

Off goes a parcel to Somerset West to an Angel.

And in betweek all this, loved my family, did my research, working on a new project and did my day-job.

It's almost the weekend baby!!

I just looove musicals from Grease to Mamma Mia – just love it, so last night’s episode of Grey’s was right up my alley and the final song, sang by Callie – Brandi Carlile’s The Story one of my all time favourites!

My mother has a way of roping me in and making me do things (and enjoy it) without me realizing, and only halfway through the project I stop and go “What the heck?”.

She again used her magic on me during the Easter break this year, and without me realizing we revamped one of her hair salons – what the heck!

Still not done but here are a few progress pics and some of the befores. The befores were taken in 2005.

I realy hope not....

I’ve wanted to do this for some time now.

Not sure why?

Maybe it is the die-hard frustrated crafster in me, or maybe it is my passionate lust for yarn or maybe it is just me missing my ouma (grandmother). But this past weekend I bought myself a knitting machine.

Terribly un-cool I know, and oh so not trendy but you know what stuff that. I think it terribly cool and I know with this I will still create something oh so trendy.

So no, this is NO future white elephant!
